As an essential medical service, physiotherapists are not required to close during lockdowns. This means we are able to continue to treat our clients with the strictest COVID restrictions.

If you have any symptoms of COVID-19 or are feeling unwell, we kindly ask you to reschedule until you are feeling better. All patients are requested to use the hand sanitiser provided in reception on arrival. If you have a cough, we will ask you to wear a facemask. We adhere to a strict and regular cleaning service to keep our clinic clean in these tough times.

At RSP PHYSIOTHERAPY, we use the best evidenced-based practice, state-of-the-art technologies and a range of hands-on therapies to suit your needs. All injuries are different and will require different treatments.

If you have extras in your private health cover, part of your physiotherapy costs are usually covered. Everyone's limits are different so we recommend contacting your private health fund directly for specific physiotherapy rebate information. If required, the code used for initial assessment sessions is 500, and 505 for review consultations.

Your rebate will be processed and claimed immediately at the clinic with our HiCaps system. This means you will only be responsible for covering the remainder of the fee not covered by your health fund.

If you are a HCF member, you may qualify for the More for Muscles program which may cover the cost of the first appointment. Contact HCF on 13 13 34 to check your eligibility.

You may be able to claim Medicare rebates if you have a chronic medical condition that is being managed by your GP under a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan, previously the Enhanced Primary Care plan (EPC).

RSP Physiotherapy accepts EPC plans, however, they’re not bulk-billed services. Instead, you will receive $54.60 off your EPC appointment rate.

Yes - our HiCaps terminal allows us to provide on-the-spot rebates from medicare (EPC) and private health insurance. This means you only pay the difference at the end of your appointment.

Yes, various sports have different insurance cover for all registered players. If you have sustained an injury playing sport, you may be eligible to start an injury insurance claim and get up to 90% of your physiotherapy cost back. Ask us if you need further clarification or assistance with this type of claim.

There are various discounts available for local sponsored clubs, gyms, and students. Enquire within.

We would appreciate 24 hours notice for all cancellations and appointment changes. Late cancellations within 3 hours of your appointment, or no-shows, will be charged a flat fee ($50).

If you are in considerable pain, we can usually book same-day appointments.

No! Physiotherapists are primary practitioners and do not need GP referrals. You can book an appointment with us directly.

Our aim is to provide the best evidence-based & hands-on physiotherapy services to ensure you are back to normal as soon as possible. Depending on the injury however, it can take some time to fully recover or to additionally work on injury prevention. We will always keep you up-to-date and after your initial consultation, Jarred will likely give an estimate of the prognosis.

  • Recent x-ray, MRI, ultrasound, or CT results
  • Referral letter(s) from your general practitioner, surgeon, or other physiotherapist
  • Workcover documents
  • DVA (Department of Veterans Affairs) documents
  • EPC (Enhanced Primary Care) documents
  • Third Party Insurance (CTP) documents.

A physiotherapist can complete a medical certificate for time off work if your injury is related to a physiotherapist’s scope of practice. Your employer may still ask for a letter from your GP.

There are three exclusive parks at the front of the clinic for patient use, and street parking on Moore & Hudson Street and surrounding areas.

Alternatively, we are a short walk (150m) from Albion train station.

There are private showers and toilets on site to facilitate those on their way to or home from work.
